Return & Refund Policy
At Joy in the Seam, we take great care in selecting and packaging our products. Because many of our items are cut to order, we have specific policies in place regarding returns and refunds.
Cut Fabric – Final Sale
All cut fabric is final sale and not eligible for return or refund.
This includes:
- Fabric sold by the yard
- Fat quarters, half yards, and custom cuts
- Any fabric that has been cut from the bolt
Due to the nature of cut fabric, we cannot restock or resell these items once cut.
Notions – Returns Accepted (Unopened Only)
We accept returns on notions (such as tools, accessories, or packaged supplies) only if they are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
- Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery
- Items must be returned in original condition
- Opened, used, or damaged notions are not eligible for return
Non-Returnable Items
- The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Cut fabric (all cuts)
- Digital downloads or patterns
- Gift cards
- Clearance or sale items (unless otherwise stated)
Exchanges
At this time, we do not offer exchanges. If your return is approved, a refund will be issued and you may place a new order.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Shipping costs are non-refundable
- Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to process
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Joy in the Seam is not responsible for lost return packages
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can make it right.
